color: #000000;\"><strong><u>Introduction<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\">Tor Vergata University of Rome, in collaboration with the University Sports Center - Rome Tor Vergata A.S.D., in accordance with the provisions of the European Sports Charter and European guidelines on dual careers, provides for each academic year that national and international athletes, coaches, and referees are admitted to the \"Dual Career\" Program.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\">Con D.R. n. 805 del 27\/02\/2025 \u00e8 stato emanato il nuovo <a href=\"http:\/\/www-2023.studenti.uniroma2.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/prot_DR_emanazione_Regolamento_Doppia_carriera_studente_atleta.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u201cREGOLAMENTO SULLA DOPPIA CARRIERA DI ATLETI E STUDENTI DELL\u2019UNIVERSIT\u00c0 DEGLI STUDI DI ROMA \u201cTOR VERGATA\u201d<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\"><strong><u>Benefits<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\">\u00a0The University recognizes economic and educational benefits to student-athletes, as detailed in Article 3 of the aforementioned Regulation and as follows:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\">Partial exemption of 30% on university fees, not cumulative with other types of partial exemptions.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\">The possibility of reducing mandatory attendance for nationally and\/or internationally recognized events of preeminent interest, certified by the relevant federation, in consultation with the University Sports Center Roma Tor Vergata and subject to authorization from the relevant Degree Course Committee, in accordance with legal obligations.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\">Authorization not to count absences in courses and lessons where attendance is required for nationally and\/or internationally recognized events of preeminent interest, certified by the relevant federation, in consultation with the University Sports Center Roma Tor Vergata and subject to authorization from the relevant Degree Course Committee, in accordance with legal obligations.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\">The possibility of temporary suspension of studies for one year for significant sporting commitments.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Recognition of university educational credits, <em>one-time, <\/em>for a maximum of 6 ECTS credits,<span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">, <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">The possibility of reducing mandatory attendance for nationally and\/or internationally recognized events of preeminent interest, certified by the relevant federation, in consultation with the University Sports Center Roma Tor Vergata and subject to authorization from the relevant Degree Course Committee, in accordance with legal obligations.<span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>*<\/strong><\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\">Successivamente la Commissione valuter\u00e0 l\u2019istanza dello studente e l\u2019esito della valutazione sar\u00e0 comunicata allo studente dagli uffici amministrativi; in caso di valutazione positiva, sar\u00e0 attivata la doppia carriera di studente-atleta con la conseguente fruibilit\u00e0 delle agevolazioni previste. <\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\">Per informazioni: studenteatleta@uniroma2.it\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">*<\/span> Student-athletes enrolled in the dual career program will receive a certificate from the Administration verifying their participation. This certificate should be presented to the instructors of their degree program.\n\nStudents may be eligible for academic credit for their sporting activities, up to a maximum of 6 ECTS credits. These activities must be officially recognized by the relevant sports federation.
