color: #000000;\">The enrolment at Italian universities with a foreign title is regulated by Ministerial procedures that establish different entry conditions for <strong>EU or equivalent students, non-EU students who do not require a visa and non-EU students requiring a visa.<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\">To verify whether your foreign qualification meets the requirements for university enrolment, you should <strong>carefully<\/strong> consult the Ministerial website at the following link:<span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"> <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.universitaly.it\/studenti-stranieri\">universitaly.it\/studenti-stranieri<\/a><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\"><div class=\"su-spoiler su-spoiler-style-fancy su-spoiler-icon-arrow su-spoiler-closed\" data-scroll-offset=\"0\" data-anchor-in-url=\"no\"><div class=\"su-spoiler-title\" tabindex=\"0\" role=\"button\"><span class=\"su-spoiler-icon\"><\/span>Enrolling in a Bachelor Degree or Single-cycle Degree<\/div><div class=\"su-spoiler-content su-u-clearfix su-u-trim\"><u>General information<\/u><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Minimum requirement<\/strong> for access to three-year or single-cycle courses is the holding of a final secondary school diploma recognized as eligible according to Italian law and the regulations established by the <a style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.universitaly.it\/studenti-stranieri\">Italian Ministry<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 14pt;\">The qualification must be obtained at the end of a school <strong>period equal to<\/strong> <strong>at least 12 years <\/strong>of schooling and allow access at the universities of the country where the qualification was obtained (or of the country of reference of the educational system) to a course similar to the one in which the student wants to enroll in Italy.\nIn the case of academic aptitude tests required for university entrance in the country where the high-school diploma was obtained (e.g., the Gao Kao in China), it is mandatory to pass this test as well.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>To assess the eligibility and authenticity of the foreign qualification obtained<\/strong> for the purpose of university enrollment in Italy, the University of Rome Tor Vergata requires specific documentation according to the country where the qualification was obtained and the educational system to which the qualification belongs:<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\"><strong>\u00a0Documents to be submitted for enrolment<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>QUALIFICATIONS OF COUNTRIES THAT ARE SIGNATORIES TO THE LISBON CONVENTION*<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 14pt;\">Final high-school diploma in original.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 14pt;\">High-school report cards.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>To verify the eligibility of the qualification<\/strong>, students holding qualifications issued by countries that are signatories to the Lisbon Convention may submit the ARDI Statement of Correspondence that can be downloaded free of charge from the <a style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"https:\/\/ardi.cimea.it\/it\">ARDI database<\/a> (check the list of countries and qualifications directly in the ARDI database) or the Declaration of Value issued by the Italian Embassy located in the territory of the country to which the educational system of the qualification belongs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>For the verification of the authenticity of the qualification<\/strong>students holding qualifications issued by countries that are signatories to the Lisbon Convention may submit either the\u00a0 <a style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cimea.it\/pagina-attestati-di-comparabilita-e-verifica-dei-titoli\">CIMEA statement  of Verification<\/a> or the translation and legalization of the qualification by the Italian Diplomatic Representation located in the territory of the country to which the educational system of the qualification belongs.\nIf the country where the qualification is obtained is a signatory to the Hague Convention (1961), instead of applying for legalization at the Italian Embassy, it is possible to have the Apostille affixed by the designated national authority.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 14pt;\">Students with foreign titles, in case they hold a Declaration of Value and translation and legalization (or Apostille) of the title by the Italian Diplomatic Representation present in the territory of the country to which the system of qualification refers, may request prior verification of their title by contacting the International Qualifications Office<a style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"mailto:international.qualfications@uniroma2.it\">international.qualfications@uniroma2.it<\/a>) and attaching the documentation. <\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 14pt;\">The University will proceed with the necessary verifications and reserves the right to request additional documentation where necessary.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; color: #000000;\"><strong>If you have an school qualification obtained after less than 12 years of schooling<\/strong>, you must present, in addition to your original secondary school diploma, the academic certificate confirming that you have passed all the required examinations:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\">for the first year of university studies, in the case of an 11-year local school system;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\">for the first two years of university studies, in the case of a 10-year local school system.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\">The following documents can also be accepted as supplements to the course:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\">final qualifications in post-secondary studies at non-university institutions of higher education and in subjects related to the chosen course;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\">certifications from Italian universities attesting the successful completion of preparatory 'Foundation Course' courses.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 14pt;\">The cited additional and complementary certifications to secondary school qualifications obtained with less than 12 years of schooling, allow in Italy only enrollment in the first academic year and may not be further evaluated for enrollment with course shortening in order to avoid double evaluation of the same qualifications. Certificates of successful completion of propaedeutic courses can also be used in order to fill those additional requirements for entry to courses, and that are different from the years of schooling, but in any case they cannot remedy the absence of an \u201cupper secondary school diploma or other qualification obtained abroad, recognized as suitable\u201d (DM 270\/2004 and DPR 212\/2005).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 14pt;\">For further details on the validity of foreign qualifications, see the ministerial procedures available at the following link<em>: <\/em><a style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.studiare-in-italia.it\/studentistranieri\/\">http:\/\/www.studiare-in-italia.it\/studentistranieri\/<\/a>. In particular, please consult the following <a style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.studiare-in-italia.it\/studentistranieri\/\">Annex 1 and Annex 2 <\/a>in the presence of a U.S. qualification, a qualification from the United Kingdom, a qualification issued by university institutes of ecclesiastical studies based in Italy approved by the Holy See, an Italian qualification awarded in frontier schools or Italian sections of foreign schools, an International Baccalaureate qualification, a qualification from the Republic of San Marino, a qualification from foreign schools operating in Italy or European Schools.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\">Please note: In the event that a candidate for a course of study presents a foreign title obtained against a background of studies mainly carried out in Italy, even partial recognition of that title is subject to the institution's accreditation procedure <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\">operating in Italy, in accordance with the provisions of Decree No 214 of 26 April 2004 'Regulation laying down criteria and procedures for foreign higher education institutions operating in Italy for the purpose of recognising their qualifications <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;
