Tor Vergata University is committed to promoting access to education. We offer a variety of scholarships and academic awards each year to recognize and support our most deserving students. 

Scholarships

DiscoLazio is the regional body for the right to education and the promotion of knowledge, ordered by regional law no. 6 of 27 July 2018. Its mission is to promote and facilitate access to university education for all deserving students, especially those from families with economic difficulties.

Disco Lazio offers various types of scholarships, including:

Financial aid: this is a monetary contribution given to students based on merit and income. Housing: this is accommodation in university residences at subsidized prices.

To apply for Disco Lazio scholarships, you must participate in a competition that is published annually between the first ten days of May and the last week of July. To be eligible for the scholarships, you must meet the merit and income requirements specified in the competition announcement.

Winners of the competition are entitled to:1. The requested benefits/services (scholarship or housing);2. Exemption from paying university and regional taxes;3. Free or subsidized catering service

The Italian Presidency of the Council of Ministers is offering €600,000 in scholarships for victims of terrorism, crime, and duty, along with their families.

Students enrolled in the 2022/2023 academic year with qualifying documents (including victim recognition decree) can apply. This includes Bachelor's, single-cycle master's, master's degrees, artistic/musical/choreography programs (AFAM), and specialization schools.

200 scholarships worth €3,000 each will be awarded: 150 for university and AFAM students, 50 for specialization schools students.

Applications must be submitted to the Presidency of the Council of Ministers by April 7, 2024.
