Before you leave:
- Choose the single-subject courses you want to enroll in and contact the Student Affairs Office of the Degree Course they belong to via email to verify that they are actually offered.
- Follow the single-subject course enrollment procedure explained before.
- Prepare the following documentation: your final degree, the Statement of Comparability issued by CIMEA or the Declaration of value with official Italian translation and legalization of your final degree, the Italian language certificate level B2 (for single-subject courses taught in Italian).
- Send the documentation described above by email to the International Students Office (students@uniroma2.it) specifying in the subject "Application for single-subject course enrollment".
- Wait for the International Student Office to approve your application on the Delphi system after reviewing your documents.
- After your application is approved, contact the Student Affairs Office of your chosen course via email to request the payment slip(s) for the single-subject course(s) you selected.
- Pre-enroll online through Universitaly by selecting Tor Vergata University of Rome, indicating your chosen courses, and uploading the required documents.
- For single-subject courses starting in the first semester, the application deadline is July 31, 2024. For single-subject courses starting in the second semester, the deadline is December 20, 2024
- The pre-enrollment application will be verified by Tor Vergata University of Rome and forwarded to the Embassy/Consulate.
Upon arrival in Italy:
- Apply for a residence permit
- Contact the International Student Office with the originals of your study documentation, passport and entry visa
- Submit the single-subject course enrollment application to the Student Affairs Office of the degree course related to the single-subject course chosen.
RENEWAL OF YOUR RESIDENCE PERMIT
Please note that renewing your residence permit to continue studies in Italy is only possible under certain conditions:
Renewal is allowed for a degree program that is related to or follows the single-subject course you completed successfully (passing the exam).
If you apply for a degree program with national or local restricted admission (called "programmato"), you'll be considered on equal footing with EU citizens.
Important Note: Renewing your residence permit is handled exclusively by the Police Headquarters (Questura)..
