Partial exemptions are not cumulative.
These benefits cannot be combined with the 30% discount
for part-time students.
Applications for partial tuition exemptions must be submitted by March 15th of the calendar year following the current academic year. For example, applications for the 2023/2024 academic year must be submitted by March 15th, 2024. Applications for maternity benefits must be submitted by December 31st of the calendar year corresponding to the current academic year. For example, for the 2023/2024 academic year, maternity benefit applications must be submitted by December 31st, 2023.

Exemptions and Benefits
If you have a recognized disability of 66% or higher, or your disability is recognized under Law 104/1992 (article 3, paragraphs 1 and 3), you are totally exempt from paying tuition fees for enrollment and registration in following years of your career path.
If your disability is between 46% and 65%, you'll receive a 20% discount on your second tuition installment.

If you enroll in a Bachelor's/Master's/Single-cycle Degree Course at Tor Vergata University for the academic year 2024/2025 and have an ISEE of less than 26,000 euros, you will be totally exempt from paying the university tuition fees (except for the regional tax of 140 euros and the 16 euros for the stamp duty).
The same benefit will be applied to you also in the following years if, in addition to ISEE-U declarations below 26,000 euros, you will have earned at least 10 ECTS credits in the second year and 25 ECTS credits for each subsequent year, by August 10th, up to the first year out of course (inclusive).

Tor Vergata University of Rome offers a tuition exemption program for qualified refugees seeking to pursue higher education. If you are a foreign national who has been granted "political refugee status" under the Geneva Convention (ratified by Italian law in 1954), you may be eligible. Please note that this program is not available to students who are behind on exams or enrolled beyond their program's standard duration.
Additionally, the number of exemptions awarded each year is capped at 5% of the total international student enrollment from the previous year.
To qualify, you must provide official documentation issued by the Italian Ministry of the Interior's Refugee Commission proving your status.
Students who have become disabled, or whose parents have become disabled, as a result of acts of terrorism or organized crime in Italy, are completely exempt from paying tuition fees for enrollment and registration in subsequent academic years.
According to Presidential Decree No. 243 of July 7, 2006, victims of terrorism and organized crime, along with their family members and children with a 100% disability rating, are considered equivalent to victims injured in the line of duty under Article 30 of Law No. 118/1971.
International students who receive scholarships granted by the Italian Government through development programs, intergovernmental agreements (cultural or scientific), or similar recurring executive programs are completely exempt from paying tuition fees and university contributions.
However, for academic years following the first year, this exemption is contingent upon:
1. Renewal of the scholarship by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
2. Compliance with the conditions outlined in Article 4, paragraph 2 of Decree Law No. 68 of March 29, 2012.
Have you obtained a high school diploma with a final grade of 100/100 from an Italian institution following the national curriculum?
If so, and you are enrolling for the first time in a degree program at Tor Vergata University of Rome, you are eligible for a full tuition fee waiver. Please note that this exemption excludes the regional tax of €140 and the stamp duty of €16.
To claim this benefit, please follow these steps:
1. Complete the university enrollment process.
2. Upon successful enrollment, access your personal Delphi account.
3. Within your account, locate the section for requesting tuition exemptions.
Due to the alignment process between the University's database and the Ministry of University and Research (MUR) database, the IT procedure for reflecting exemptions may not be immediate.
Therefore, students who are eligible for this tuition reduction are invited to:
1. Periodically check their tuition fee status on their personal Delphi page.
2. Report any discrepancies they encounter no earlier than February 15th (and by the deadline for the second installment payment).

Winners of the National Olympic Games who are part of the Ministerial Program for the Promotion of Excellence are exempt from paying their first year's tuition fees. They are only required to pay stamp duty and regional tax.

Students on maternity leave are offered two options for continuing their studies at the University. A one-year leave of absence, coinciding with childbirth, can be taken with a three-year window for resumption. Alternatively, students may elect to continue their studies with a 30% tuition reduction for one year. This fee reduction requires a request submitted by December 31st of the current year.
Tor Vergata University of Rome offers a 10% discount on the second tuition installment for siblings of currently enrolled students. This applies to each enrolled sibling, provided their ISEE-University ISEE value is below €40,000.00.
Olympic Medalists: Enrolled students who are Olympic medal winners are exempt from paying tuition fees for their entire course of study. They are only responsible for stamp duty and regional tax.
World Olympic Participants: Students who participate in a World Olympic competition receive a 30% reduction on the all-inclusive university fee.
Students facing work, family, medical, or personal commitments can opt for part-time enrollment. This allows for a lighter course load spread over a longer duration. Part-time students benefit from a 30% reduction in tuition fees, though the overall program will take proportionally longer to complete.
Tor Vergata University supports student-athletes by offering a 30% reduction on tuition fees. To qualify, students must hold certificates of special national and international competitive sporting merit as outlined in the university's dual career program regulations.
As a reward for your performance, Tor Vergata is pleased to offer you a 10% discount on your first year's tuition fees when you enroll in a Master's degree program here.
If you have at least one parent who is a permanent or fixed-term employee at Tor Vergata University, and their ISEE-University income is €50,000.00 or less, you may be eligible for a 50% discount on your second tuition installment.
Are you a current employee at Tor Vergata University, holding either a permanent or fixed-term contract? If so, you're eligible for a benefit! We offer a 50% discount on your second tuition installment, regardless of your income.
Students who are simultaneously enrolled in two degree programs at this University may be eligible for a 20% reduction on the total contribution due for the second program. This reduction applies solely to the second program, provided it is a Bachelor's degree, Master's degree, or Single-Cycle Master's degree program.
Please note that this benefit is applicable in addition to any other partial exemptions for which you may qualify.
